The most populer Url Shringking Money making Website Adf.ly has been Banned by Department of Telecom (DoT) India.
There is no official announcement from Indian Government or  Dept. of Telecom (India) for blocking this domain.
Users can still access adf.ly using https:// protocol instead of http:// ..

Although Users can bypass Ban through Proxy / VPN or Opera Turbo enabling.

There is no official announcement made  from ISPs for this domain blocking.

while opening http://adf.ly Indian users get following error.

" The URL you requested has been blocked as per instructions from Department of Telecom(CHNN). URL = adf.ly/ "
"This website/URL has been blocked until further notice either pursuant to Court orders or on the Directions issued by the Department of Telecommunications"

Payout rate of adf for India :

As Adf Pays approx 0.6-0.7$  per 1000 Indian visitors.

The websites using adf 's link converter and website entry script of adf.ly will now have to make a change.
because the website/blog owners who are using this script they have to chance to loss their indian visitors due to error described above.

To solve this problem (Adf.ly Solution For India)

Edit the adf.ly 's .js :

Trick 1 :

Edit the adf.ly 's .js file and use https protocol instead of http.

Trick 2 :

You can also edit your shorten links in this way.
Use adf.ly older version i.e. v1.adf.ly instead of adf.ly
for example .
your old link is : http://adf.ly/LyzZf 
change it to : http://v1.adf.ly/LyzZf 
this will help indian users to access your adf.ly links.
so you can not loose your adf.ly earnings.
update:
this v1 trick in no more working now,
use https protocol.


May Adf.ly will continue their service and ask to DoT for Ban removal.

Yes,But i am not finding the reason for why DOT bans adf.ly.But i am for sure it will badly effect the earning of bloggers for indian traffic.I cannot understand why such things happen only in india.Since india is a developing country it should be given more preference when it comes to the matter of blogging.It is really a very bad news.Perhaps we expect that adf.ly soon find out a solution for this problem.I really regrets for adf.ly lovers

  6. But why to depend on Adfly when Guppit.com is here. Their payout rates are awesome... alomost Rs. 100/- for 1000 visits. Since based in India, you can get cheque, mobile recharge, etc.. very easy.
    Warning: They are crazy for quality visits, they won't pay you and ban you if you try to earn through traffic exchange, bots, etc. Do read their terms and conditions before starting .. they have banned quite a few people
